Director of Development Job Opening

Job Description

The Director of Development will report directly to the Founder/CEO.  Oversee a comprehensive development operation, including major donors. Steward a portfolio of relationships, and drive growth to achieve revenue goals. DoD will be a collaborative and innovative leader, passionate about our mission. Create and execute an annual fundraising plan of $2M for individuals, corporations and foundations with increasing goals. Cultivate partnerships with constituents, including prospects/donors/board members. Serve as a key member of the leadership team. Supervise 2 direct reports.  Provide support to the CEO re. Board development. Liaise with Board Governance and Development Committees. Provide creative strategy and oversight for the annual Gala, as well as other cultivation events.  BA required. 7-10 years successful fundraising and management experience, preferably in the NY area. Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals, the cultivation/solicitation of major gifts, and managing a development office.
