Event Builds Confidence & Leadership in Girls

Figure Skating in Harlem’s 21st season is well underway as our FSH girls joined Olympic Champions, Meryl Davis and Charlie White to open the rink at Rockefeller Center on Tuesday, October 10th. Our girls were beaming with joy as they hit the ice for the first time and received pointers from these generous Olympic Champions. The girls were also filmed for a future episode of Telemundo’s “Un Nuevo Día!”

The most famous ice rink in the world, The Rink at Rockefeller Center, it’s such a great opportunity for our girls to skate alongside Olympic Ice Dance Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, and mingle with child skaters of Ice Theatre of New York. This is The Rink at Rockefeller Center’s 81st year.
