Alumna Changes Lives in Ghana

FSH Alumna, Nyasha Franklin, is spending 7 weeks in Cape Coast, Ghana, for an internship with Nkwa Foundation this summer. Nkwa Foundation is an NGO focuses on sustainable community development, health promotion, and rural education support, in Ghana’s Central Region. She has been added to their team as a Development Intern, managing social media pages, learning about grant writing and fundraising, and working closely to document the organization’s forthcoming Tilapia Farm Project. While with Nkwa this summer, Nyasha will be challenging herself as a young leader and  professional, learning about African-run development projects and how they function.
