I Can Excel (ICE) FSH’s premiere after-school program that improves student academics, encourages active lifestyles, and strengthens leadership skills in girls ages 6-18.
Summer Dreams Camp
Students enjoy a daily variety of academic enrichment classes and cultural trips followed by skating instruction, participating in a total of 35 hours per week.
Figure Skating in Harlem introduced Harlem Ice Synchronized Skating in 2006 to help students perfect new skills on the ice and continue to learn invaluable lessons in leadership & teamwork.
In order to keep our girls active, FSH created the popular Summer Dreams Camp which runs for 6-8 weeks, Monday through Thursday, July 8 – August 15. Students enjoy a daily variety of academic enrichment classes and cultural trips followed by skating instruction at the participating in a total of 35 hours per week.

Our academic classes give students a competitive edge when returning to school as they hone their skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), public speaking, writing, health, and nutrition.
Students who are registered with FSH for summer camp can also take advantage of our Super Skating Sundays, which provides on-ice instruction for another 60 committed students from April through August at the Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon, New York.
FSH offers scholarships to students who are interested in attending regional summer skating camp programs at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York.
Sample Day of Camp
8:30AM-10:00AM: Early Drop-Off at FSH (fees apply)
10:00AM-11:30AM: Enrichment Activities (Communications, STEAM, etc.)
11:30AM-12:30PM: Book Club/Reading Time
2:00PM: Leave FSH for Ice Rink
4:00PM-5:30PM: Ice Hutch in Mount Vernon, NY
5:30PM: Leave Ice Rink for FSH
6:30PM: Dismissal from FSH
How Can I Apply?
All students must be female, between the current grades of Kindergarten and 7th, participants must turn 6 by 7/1/18, and must reside in Harlem, Upper Manhattan or the lower Bronx. After a full application is submitted all students will be contacted for an admissions interview. All new students must attend an Open House, where they will submit an application. Program fees do apply.
